Application for “MOST Doctoral Dissertation Fellowships of the Humanities and Social Sciences” begins!
- Due to the on-campus application review, the application will be accepted till 27th March, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. Late application will be rejected.
- Applicants shall meet the eligibility below:
(1) Full-time doctoral students enrolled in the department of humanities and social sciences in universities that are approved by the Ministry of Education; the applicant must achieve the doctoral candidacy before the application deadline with certification provided by the department they enrolled in.
(2) The applicant shall have excellent academic performance and has obtained an advisor’s agreement to advise the writing of doctoral dissertation.
(3) Applicant’s doctoral dissertation research topic shall be in the fields of humanities and social sciences.
(4) Due to the restriction of the funding, the applicants from mainland China can’t apply for this grant.
(5) The advisor should meet the qualifications of a doctoral dissertation advisor regulated by the applicant’s department and school, and is willing to advise the applicant to complete the doctoral dissertation.
- Please be noted:
(1) Applicants shall create an account or renew the basic information on MOST/NSTC website “Academic Research Service Portal” earlier.
(2) Once the applicant shall notify the advisor to upload the “Advisor’s Comment Form初評意見表” onto the “Academic Research Service Portal” and submit it no later than March 26. If the applicant has 2 advisors then both 2 advisors shall submit “Advisor’s Comment Form”
(3) Applicants shall download the required documents through the path:
