School office Job for Spring Semester 2023

  •  Admission list is scheduled to announce on February 17th(Fri.), then the office will need you to schedule the working hours. Please check your email box.
  •  Schedule will start on March 1st(Wed).
Job Details Overview:
  • Each slot will have a maximum of two students.
  • Weekends and holidays will have no office hours.
  • Flexibility in working hours will be appreciated.
  • The hourly rate for Master’s students is $200 NTD and that for Ph.D. students is $250 NTD.

  • Please note that this job applies only to non-scholarship students and TA is excluded.
Listed below are some of the tasks that student workers may be assigned:
  • Tidying and arranging the rooms.
    1. Clean the 12th floor
    2. Inventory checking including restocking
    3. Other
  • Activities

    1. Help receive visiting scholars and guest(s) of the university
    2. Help receive new students and teachers to the university
    3. Attending and assisting students’ activities
    4. Writing press releases & taking photos
    5. Set up video equipment
    6. Prepare coffee or tea for events and meetings and clean dishes
    7. Other

  •  Promotion

    1. Assist with the creation of IMAS, IDAS, and IMES class videos and materials
    2. Social media and website upkeep and curation; social media posts
    3. Draft emails for new and returning students
    4. Introducing the campus and giving campus tours.
    5. Other
  • Paperwork

    1. Editing and translating and organizing forms
    2. Editing and translating office and department documents
    3. Scanning forms for upload
    4. International and new student handbook work
    5. Giving guidance to new students on how to pick their classes (especially online)
    6. Help to cleanup timetables and announcements
    7. Other
